I don’t use sheet masks every day, but whenever my skin starts looking tired, dry, or just “off,” they’re usually the first thing I reach for. There’s something really nice about taking 15–20 minutes to slow down and let my skin rest a bit.
Some masks feel super refreshing, while others are better before makeup or during breakout days. These four are the ones I’ve used the most lately, so here’s my honest little rating for each one.
Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask
Rate: 8.8/10
This is one of those sheet masks that never disappoints me. I like how lightweight the essence feels because it hydrates the skin without leaving that overly sticky layer afterward. The sheet also fits nicely, so it feels comfortable while wearing it. What I enjoy most is how fresh my skin looks after using it, especially when I store it in the fridge first. What I enjoy most is how fresh my skin looks after using it, especially when I store it in the fridge first.
It’s simple, calming, and easy to use anytime — whether after being outside all day or just before sleeping. I took a few points off only because some variants work better than others, but overall it’s still one of my comfort masks.
Some By Mi Diamond Brightening Mask
Rate: 9.2/10
This one honestly surprised me the first time I tried it. After taking the mask off, my skin looked brighter immediately, but in a healthy glow kind of way — not shiny or greasy. I usually use this before events or dinner plans because makeup sits so much nicer afterward. The essence feels richer than regular sheet masks, but not heavy enough to feel uncomfortable.
My skin always ends up looking smoother and more awake after using it. The only reason it’s not a perfect 10 for me is because I personally don’t reach for brightening masks every single day.
Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet Tea Tree
Rate: 9/10
Whenever my skin starts getting tiny bumps or feels irritated, this is usually the mask I go for first. The tea tree version feels really cooling and calming, especially during hot weather or stressful weeks when my skin starts acting up. I also like that the essence doesn’t feel thick or greasy.
Some calming masks can feel too heavy, but this one feels clean and refreshing instead. After using it, my skin usually looks less red and more balanced overall. It’s not super fancy, but it works quietly and consistently, which honestly makes me keep repurchasing it.
4. Skintific 5X Ceramide Barrier Repair Mask
Rate: 9.5/10
The essence feels rich and deeply moisturizing, but somehow it still doesn’t feel greasy. The glow after using this mask is also really pretty — not shiny, just healthy and hydrated-looking. Honestly, this is the kind of sheet mask that makes you touch your skin every five minutes after using it because it feels that smooth.
I think sheet masks are one of the easiest ways to make skincare feel a little more relaxing instead of just another routine. These three all give different results depending on what my skin needs — hydration, brightness, or calming care. And honestly, sometimes putting on a sheet mask at the end of the day just makes everything feel a little softer and slower for a while.
