There was a time I treated sunscreen like an afterthought—just something to tick off before heading out. Now it feels more personal, almost like choosing how I want my skin to behave throughout the day.
Lately, I’ve been switching between two that give completely different experiences: Cetaphil Sun SPF 50 and Azarine Hydracool Ceraspray Sunscreen SPF 50. Same purpose, very different vibe.
1. Cetaphil Sun SPF 50
This one feels dependable in a quiet way. The texture leans more on the creamy side, and I usually reach for it when my skin feels a bit dry or sensitive. It spreads evenly without much effort, and once it settles, there’s a subtle comfort to it—like my skin is being taken care of, not just protected. I tend to use this when I know I’ll be out for longer hours, especially under strong sun. It’s not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to do without making a fuss.
2. Azarine Hydracool Ceraspray Sunscreen SPF 50
This one is a completely different experience. The spray format already makes it feel lighter and more refreshing, especially in the middle of a humid day. I like using it when I don’t want to disturb my makeup too much or when I just need a quick touch-up. There’s a cooling sensation that hits right away, which makes it oddly satisfying to use, especially outdoors. It feels more casual, something I can just grab and use without overthinking.
On slower days or when my skin needs a bit more care, I lean toward Cetaphil. On busier days, especially when I’m out and about, the Azarine spray feels more practical. It’s less about which one is better and more about what the moment calls for.
