I used to think eyeshadow had to be complicated to look good—multiple brushes, precise blending, a whole process.
But lately, I’ve leaned more toward palettes that feel easy to reach for, the kind you can use without turning it into a full project.
These two somehow fit into that mood, each in their own way.

1. Holika Holika My Fave Mood Eye Palette

This palette feels… relaxed. The shades are usually soft, wearable, and easy to layer without worrying about making mistakes. I like how the colors don’t come on too strong at first—it gives you space to build things up slowly. On days when I’m not in the mood to think too much, this is the one I grab. It creates that gentle, blended look that feels effortless, like it just happened rather than being carefully planned.

2. Amuse Eye Color Palette

This one has a slightly different energy. The colors feel a bit more lively, sometimes with a touch of brightness or shimmer that catches the light in a subtle way. It’s still easy to use, but there’s a bit more playfulness to it. I tend to reach for this when I want my eyes to stand out just a little more, without going all the way into something bold. It’s that middle ground—noticeable, but still soft around the edges.
What I’ve noticed is that I don’t choose between them randomly. The Holika Holika palette fits slower mornings, when I want something calm and predictable. The Amuse palette comes out when I feel like adding a bit of variation, something that shifts the look just enough to feel different.
